The Infectious Diseases Educational Foundation was established in 2013 as a not for profit agency to primarily help in education about Infectious Diseases management for health care professionals and also to improve awareness about infection prevention and management among the public. The Foundation has conducted several updates for health care professionals. After the COVID pandemic, online meetings have also covered subjects including HIV, AIDS and Infection control. The Foundation has now initiated the IDEF Academy as the Educational Wing to conduct training programs and updates.
